New Manager/Team Leader Training
A key focus will be to create a personal learning plan which captures ideas and actions the individual can implement back in the workplace. At the end of this module there will be suggestions for further learning for the individual to undertake. The module will be interactive, motivational and leave the attendees with several tools, approaches, and ideas to take away. The module will also encourage the attendees to discuss and share experiences and ideas with each other.

- Challenges for new people managers, making the transition into management.
- Understanding how you need to manage different individuals in different ways (Blanchard’s Situational Leadership model).
- Having effective conversations with your direct reports, giving feedback.
- What makes a good appraisal conversation.
- Understanding your responsibilities when managing sickness, absenteeism, poor performers: conduct or capability and sexual harassment.
