The AgilePM v3 Foundation course provides a comprehensive introduction to Agile project management, focusing on leadership, collaboration and delivering real business value. You’ll explore Agile principles, Scrum integration, and the project lifecycle. Gaining insights into key roles, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.

Understanding Agile principles and concepts

Explore the core principles of Agile project management, including the Agile manifesto and its values. The course introduces the concept of Business Agility, explaining how Agile approaches enable businesses to remain competitive in fast-paced environments. You will also gain an understanding of how agility helps to navigate VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) challenges by promoting iterative development, continuous feedback, and adaptive planning. 

Scrum knowledge

Develop a strong understanding of Scrum, one of the most widely used Agile frameworks. The course assumes you already have knowledge of Scrum, and explores key Scrum roles, providing insights into their responsibilities and how they contribute to successful Agile projects, as well as Scrum’s core values, discussing how they shape team collaboration and productivity. The course examines how Scrum theory and practices integrate within Agile project management, enabling teams to apply Scrum effectively within a broader framework. 

The importance of collaboration and communication

Learn why collaboration and communication are essential for successful Agile projects. AgilePM promotes a team-driven approach where transparent leadership, open dialogue, and stakeholder engagement ensure alignment with project goals. You’ll explore how effective communication builds trust and enables teams to respond quickly to change. The course also highlights techniques for facilitating collaboration, such as daily stand-ups, feedback loops, and iterative development cycles.
