The IOSH Managing Safely®️ Refresher training course provides staff in managerial positions with a recap of the core elements of IOSH Managing Safely®. This includes areas such as how to identify, evaluate and control workplace risks, as well as how to evaluate safety systems and strategies in the workplace.

- The course is completed with an end assessment paper.
Objectives:
At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:
- Recall the key elements addressed in IOSH Managing Safely
- Outline the 6 stages of Successful Safety Management set out in HSG65
- Develop a positive Safety Culture
- Detail any recent changes to health and safety legislation
- Reiterate the general principles of risk assessment and risk control
- Prepare and use appropriate active monitoring techniques
- Conduct adequate investigations of accidents
Please note that IOSH will only issue certificates on successful completion to attendees who have gained the full IOSH Managing Safely award previously.
