Mechanical Assembly Skills Bootcamp
The students shall learn how to read & understand engineering drawings & three processes of manufacture, hand fitting/ Lathe & Milling operations. The students shall complete each component for the aforementioned manufacturing processes (hand/ lathe & Milling), such that the assembly can be completed & wired.

| · Select and use appropriate tools and equipment for mechanical fitting and assembly activities. |
| · Measure and mark out materials accurately in preparation for mechanical fitting and assembly activities. |
| · Safely carry out mechanical fitting and assembly activities in accordance with requirements. |
| · Identify and diagnose faults in mechanical fitting and assembly activity outputs. |
| · Carry out quality checks throughout mechanical fitting and assembly activities to ensure that requirements are met. |
